WNYC reporter Darnell Jefferson arrested in NJ

In an unfortunate incident in New Jersey, an individual described as a reporter for WNYC was arrested for his alleged role in leaving edible pot candies within reach of a 3-year old child who was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and placed on a ventilator. I think it may have only been reported by a community news website so far.

I'm not familiar with the reporter named in the article and don't know if he's a WNYC staffer or perhaps a freelance correspondent.

Here's the story:

Unfortunate incident? Sounds more like gross negligence. One needs to take a test and have a license to drive a car, but any moron can have a kid. So sad.
