WNYW and other Fox stations to air new network

Fox owned stations with Weigel Broadcasting will soon air a new broadcast network in their 17 markets -- Movies! It will run movies, origin and type unknown, 24/7 in a 16 by 9 format on 5.3 in New York. It appears that WNYW will still carry a simulcast of WWOR.

I thought that "Mundo Fox" was going to air as a subchannel of either 5 or 9. New York would be an ideal market for it, anyhow.

That was my impression first I heard of that network, however, they were able to get it on Cablevision in time for their launch. Really looking forward to the Movies! channel and wondering if the cable systems will pick that up. Seems as if Fox picked Weigel as a partner based on their success with Me TV and This TV.
