Her response on Live TV was unprofessional. Big NY market reporter should know better.
 
Has Jodi and WNYW said anything else about this on GDNY this week?
 
She's pregnant and that's why she lost it. Being professional is one thing, but she's a reporter who's on a fluffy morning show that was doing a bit on how people's bikes get stolen.

It's not like she was at a white house press conference and started making fart noises.

the only good that came from that story even if it hadn't turned out to be a joke, would be if you are looking for a new bicycle.
 
Julius: why do you care what happens on Noo Yawk television? Aren't you usually too busy complaining about how you think Philadelphia TV and radio is "bad" even though you have no concrete thoughts on anything? Concerning Jodi's unprofessional, silly tirade on Fox 5...what does you think? Why or why not?

For those not familiar with Mr. May and his posts over the years: two of his most famous questions are "what does you think?" and "Why or why not?" He asks what other people think of something, but never provides any thoughts of his own.
 
I doubt Jodi's reaction was planned or "staged." She's a drama queen and should have been fired for acting like a spoiled little brat on the air. She said that kids were watching that show. I highly doubt any young children are up at 6:00 a.m., let alone watching the freakin' news.
 
I have a friend who worked for WNYW and he told me that Jodi Applegate is not a nice person........She ignores and looks down upon everyone that is not at her level.....Since I've heard that, I haven't watched Good Day since.
 
I believe it was during the 11:30AM edition of the news, and it was a summer day. I still doubt that kids were watching though, but ya never know.
 
Looking at the bug on the YouTube video, it happened at 7:50am. Sure, I guess there could have been children watching, but is that really the point?

Channel 5 would become (more) watchable in the morning if they got rid of her!
 
While I may not be fond of her on-air persona, it's sad for her and her family about what happened with her pregnancy. They say whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger so I'm sure they will endure and build the family they hope for in the future.
