WNZN-FM, Lorain Ohio radio personality Barbara Ballard will be at the Main Library in the Lorain Public Library System (LPLS) on Thursday, August 8th from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. for a demonstration as part of a program called "Let's Talk Vegetable: Pods and Seeds". She'll prepare a classic soul food dish featuring corn, okra and beans. Participants will receive a produce bag with items grown in a local urban farm, while supplies last. According to the LPLS press release, preregistration to attend is required.
