WOAD to get FM translator.

I saw on another website that the heritage AM gospel station is buying a translator signal in Tallulah, LA, and will move it to Jackson. The Tallulah station is on 103.5, though I don't know if it will remain on that frequency. Given that it would be right next to WJNT's nighttime FM frequency on 103.3, somebody may have to move.
 
The WJNT booster will have to relocate to another vacant channel. WJNT-FM1 operates under a Special Temporary Authority, which carries no rights, even against secondary services such as FM translators and LPFMs. There are several other open spots on the dial, so I would expect they will have no problem moving. As WOAD and WJNT are co-owned, I doubt it will be an issue.

I wonder why WJNT hasn't tried to get a translator of their own instead of using that temporary nightime only transmitter., It only gets out like a low power station anyway. An official translator would allow them to be on FM during the daytime hours.
