My uncle listens a lot to this station and has been complaining about dead air. So I tune in and I hear breaks that haven't been timed out right. The breaks end and its back to the network in the middle of a song. I hear news and weather sounders play at odd times when there is no weather or news. Last night,he calls to ask me what happened to the station. I tune in and there is a dead carrier and no audio. Are they asleep at the swithc over there?

Simply Put it's Millennium Owned and if what they have done with 1310 WADB and their "format du jour" mentality and the recent sale of WBUD in Trenton I would venture to say that they don't give a damn. That station has always sounded like shi* when it comes to scheduling spots and time out network and local breaks...sloppy and quite frankly you can tell after about 3 minutes just how much effort is put into the station outside of AM Drive weekdays and even THAT is a stretch. If I wanna hear two people arguing every morning for hours, I will call some relatives of mine. Decent format on the frequency and in comparison it sounded a lot better on the old WMID as well as when it was on WMTR/WWTR pre-2004. Being optimistic about the situation be thankful that there IS an outlet for Sinatra, Bennett, Streisand and Como even if it means sitting through a sloppy melange of commercials/liners/jingles all playing simultaneously... OH and I forgot the BEST part, it's off the air half the time just as you pointed out. Perhaps we should consider THAT a "Public Service!" LOL!! ;D

You don't like the 2008 version of the Bickersons? ;D

Their audio is very low as I write this. Don't they care about the stations sound?

That says it all. When are they going to try different formats like they have with WADB or WBUD or whatever they call it these days?

When "Frick and Frack" are no longer in the picture... could be at any moment. Times are hard so I've heard and those two are well eligible for SS checks!! ::)

Actually one is already He has said this on the air
