They are doing some major renovations. Also Bill Saurer has gone back to Buffalo to help with Charlie Banta's new radio group. Its been my experience that major changes mean a sale may be in the works

Tons of New Jersey stations are for sale, but is anyone buying?

The smart ones, who will sell short term. Long term, they'll be worth half of what they pay for them today. Glad I sold out in 1990! CC is going to cause a collaplse.

calrification: collapse on prices and station values. With affordable sticks, maybe the day of the independant operator is returning?

If you have the money...any NJ company will sell to you. The entire Millennium cluster is up for sale. Greater Media has stalled with the likes of JRZ and DHA. I'm sure Press would sell any of their stations. The trouble is they all paid more than they can get for them now.

Time to hit the lottery, then...

If sold, Millennium could still keep more than 1/2 of the station's advertisers by moving them to WFPG-FM.

96.9 covers all of Ocean County very solidly and is city-grade in some parts. South of Route 72, WFPG-FM is actually stronger than WOBM!

The only areas that would really be lost are Lakewood and Brick.
