WOCL adds an HD-3

WOCL has added an HD-3 station to their signal with what sounds like Sunday morning community shows/informercials type of programming. Too bad it isn't worth a flip. HD-3's in many markets are generally a talk or voice-only format, but I was hoping for a better effort. Glad to see HD-3's hitting the area, just... wish they were trying harder.

I tried listening close to top of the hour to hear an ID or something that would label the station's image, but the particular show just bled over into the next hour.

As I undertand it HD-3's are MONO. If that is correct it could be a good alternative for Big band and early 50's-60's Oldies.

Seems like to me that the standard stations aren't doing a flip..why in the world would they expand to 2 and three other tierss...Dumb! big ape

So much for the Sunday morning infomercial-type show marathon... The channel is now simulcasting WFAN/New York.

They obviously have no processing on this channel, sounds like a CB radio. Maybe, stormychuck should stop worrying about WDBO's sound and pay more attention to his own stations sound. DJ's trying to sound like engineers is so transparent and funny...
