WODS ALL ACCESS COMMENTS

I found the number of comments following today's All Access story to be odd. I've seen major radio news stories with far fewer comments, & most of them obviously coming from insiders. These comments for the most part seem to be from listeners, & I wasn't even aware that website was well known enough outside the radio business.

The masthead's been changed on the Back To The 80s Facebook page to read:

"From Wang Chung to Bon Jovi, hear your favorite 80's tunes with Joe Cortese on Back to the 80's Friday night on Boston's Mix 104.1 and online at Mix1041.com."

Thus, WBMX is the new home on Friday nights for the show.

As far as the Lost 45s show with Barry Scott, for now that continues online-only; paid subscription necessary to listen.

Lost 45s Facebook page here and webpage here.

I'm more inclined to believe that it's a poorly updated Facebook page. No chance that Mix 104.1 is airing a 1980's show in 2012, especially since they moved it 2 years ago.

Quite possible, Will. Wouldn't be surprised.

In fact, upon closer inspection, there's this notation right under the above message on the "About" page:

Company Overview
From Wang Chung to Bon Jovi, hear your favorite 80's tunes with Joe Cortese on Back to the 80's Friday night on Boston's 103.3 WODS!

I see what you're saying; likely the main page/message was never updated. Sad but true that folks don't proofread their own pages on Facebook & other web entities.

Then again, CBS Radio had the wrong URL posted for the new AMP website in their original press release (corrected 24 hours or so later).

Was http://www.1033ampradioboston.com - corrected to http://www.1033ampradio.com
