............Have been listening to WODS HD2 off and on between work (computer) driving (smartphone)

and at home (Internet radio). Does seem to be quite repetitive and narrow artist based (like it`s terrestrial

original.) but every once in a while the will play a rare album cut . I heard The Beatles Obla-di Obla-da version from the

Anthology series. My wife likes it so far because there are no commercials at this point. I`ve said to her don`t worry,

they will be on soon.

I doubt she has anything to worry about, because seven radio geeks isn't enough for any advertiser to even consider.

They're calling the odd stuff "WODS HD2 Collectible Cuts", and they seem to be running about two an hour. So far, some that I've heard include:

The extended album version of a Temptations minor 1967 hit "I Could Never Love Another (After Loving You)".

Live versions of some Elton John, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, and other tracks instead of the usual studio versions.

An alternate take of The Beach Boys "Good Vibrations" with some different verses and lyrics.

An alternate partly instrumental version of The Beatles "We Can Work It Out".

The studio-fabricated Elvis and Lisa Marie Presley duet version of "In The Ghetto".

A live version of Tommy James & The Shondells "Crystal Blue Persuasion".

The original acoustic album version of "Sounds of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel.

There are others, it makes it more interesting than just their old playlist with no DJ's.

Hello, first of all sorry about my english I am from Spain and I am a retired person that come to NY for seasons with relatives. I love radio because it was my job in my country...

I like very much music and here is best, Radio Statins here are right with all kindergarten of music, the only problem is they always play the some tracks and is very repetitive and borde. About WODS HD2 I hear it on internet, so I can listen radio stations from worldwide.

The sound of WODS H2 is owesome, because they transmits with sorround sound, I think the some for KFRC in San Francisco and KZOK HD2 in Seattle, all them CBS Radio. Thank you :-\

I'm glad they're doing something to distinguish themselves from all the other Classic Hits options available on the internet. I wonder if WCBS-FM's Pat St. John is involved with this station, since he features "Collectible Cuts" on his show, and I've heard him play some of the specific ones mentioned.

Ahhh - seven radio geeks and a spouse...says something for audience growth.

Seriously - I could see stations offering local spots as "bonus" spots on HD-2 channels to advertisers to get them to sign/resign a deal on the main channel. Plenty of inventory available...
