WODS suggestions

My suggestion: when WODS does flip to classic rock - yes, I know that they'll call it classic hits, but knowing WZLX, WROR AND WMKK, all which call (or called) themselves classic hits, there is ABSOLUTELY no distinguishment between classic hits and classic rock. Basically it's all the same songs and same artists: Led Zep, Hendrix, Eagles, Who, Guess Who, Elton John, Billy Joel, Mac, Cars, Boston, Skynyrd, Aero, Geils, VH, G'N'R, Yes, Sabbath/Ozzy, Beatles, Stones and Clapton, among others. Any my suggestion: please don't play the same #@$%&*#$@?> song as the others at the same #$@%&*? time (i.e. don't play Hells Bells at the same time as ROR or Highway To Hell at the same time as MKK, etc.).

Classic Hits is pop songs that mainly focus on the 70's - Classic Top 40 would be a better description. WODS plays the big pop hits by CERTAIN classic rock artists, along with pop/soul/disco that got played along side a "Sweet Home Alabama" type song. Before oldies stations evolved to become 70's focused, "Classic Hits" generally meant lite classic rock tunes and no pop/soul/dicso. Hence the confusion.

YMMV

So using this "logic" WPLM must be a disco station because they play "How Deep Is Your Love" by the Bee Gees. Or maybe they're a classic rocker too, since they also play "You're In My Heart" from Rod Stewart. He did "Stay With Me" with the Faces you know. But wait, he also did "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" so maybe WPLM is a disco station after all!

And lets see, this means Magic 106.7 must also be a classic rocker because they occasionally play a Billy Joel ballad. And WODS is an Urban AC because they play songs from Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross. Ridiculous!
