Let me set this up first..
I'm leaving my 2nd shift job at about 11:40 Friday night and I tuned into 103.3 WODS just to see what they were playing.On the air was Bon Jovi's Bad Medicine.I took a double take to make sure I was'nt listening to WHJY.From Bon Jovi I hear a liner "Joe Cortez" and the Friday Night 80's.Ok...They have attention I'll sit through the 5 minute stop set (key point there) to see whats next Culture Club's "Miss me Blind" ah not that great but have'nt heard it in a while worth keeping my dial there.Now Comes Joe Cortez to close out the show.WOW! Some personality and he's upbeat says the call letters and I can tell he's feeling what he's doing>Now the last song .Van Hagar's "When it's Love" another song I was pleased to hear and hav'nt heard in awhile either.
I have not tuned into WODS in a while but I really like what I hear with the local personality having fun with the music.Looking OUTSIDE of the Box.Something B101 should do because they are very boring and I cant really listen any more than 10 minutes nowadays.Yea, I know thier numbers are decent but COME ON.....
