WODS-FM 103.3 wasn't on the air this morning. What the hell happened?

I heard in the hallways that it was related to a piece of equipment failure and it was off the air from around 6a to around 7a. No format flip. Nothing else to see, move along. ;D

Don't forget...WODS has a CP to move from the route 128 tower to the Prudential Building. Maybe they're doing some maneuvering in preparation for that change.

not storm related (knocked off)--I say that because I'm in Pitt. now and heard big t-storms coming to Boston. Here, it sounded like Froggy 104.3 country got knocked off due to storm and KDKA
had some moments of dead air as storms went thru last night at 6.

Fun broadcasting fact: KDKA the first commercial radio station began broadcasting from
the William Penn Hotel (now the Omni--have stayed there in past) in 1920 IIRC

Both their HD2 and HD3 channels were still on the whole time yesterday morning even when their main analog (and HD1) channel was silent.

Also, their RBDS display was showing what song would have been being heard if the audio was working.
