WOGL HD1 and HD2 What Happened?

I noticed since yesterday HD1 and HD2 signal of WOGL are gone so is the live streem of HD2 on the internet. Is this a technical problem? or are they gonna kill HD? Alos their HD signal sucked in Bucks County

HD Radio your kidding right?.Sirius Satellite Radio now you have everything you need.just put your HD radio in the trash get to walmart buy your Satellite Radio and then thank me ASAP..

I actually listen to WYSP's HD-2. KYW sounds nice in FM stereo. I also listen to WMMR-HD1 but, that just because it's an HD radio. I think radio companies could put all their AM stations on an FM HD-2 or HD-3 station. It would be nice if CBS put WPHT on WOGL's HD-2 and actually played Rush and Sean on it when Phillies day games are on.

OK, I'll admit the best part of my HD radio in my car is the fact it plays MP3 disks but when I do use the radio I usually only listen to KYW on YSP HD2. I wonder how long it will be before stations stop broadcasting in HD. I noticed most people on this board hate HD radio but my question is why? I am aware of how the IBOC signal has made a mess of AM broadcasts. I say why bother with HD in AM, but what's so bad about FM in HD?

What was the format of WOGL-HD2 before it went off the air? It had previously been all 70s. When they flipped the main signal to all-Christmas, they ran the regular oldies format on HD-2. What have they been doing since January?

WOGL-HD2 is currently running "I Love The Seventies" on their HD2 and their Internet stream. I'm actually listening to it right now in my living room here in Whitman, Massachusetts. It's crystal clear and in Stereo. I don't think it's down. So, relax!

It was down because of tower work on the candleabra in Roxborough.

I have been saying it for years: HD radio is the new Quadrophonic. That or the new Betamax.

Remember since there are no ads on HD--thus no revenue--the stations are prepared to air 'em with ZERO investment for content. There is no incentive to do anything more.

I think the "no ads" agreement is expired. There are ads all over HD stations now. I should say that what I'm listening to aren't HD stations, but internet streams of HD stations, but I can't imagine they're running ads while the actual station runs more music. WNEW.com (WWFS HD-2 New York) runs ads. Also, of course, the FM-HD simulcasts of AM stations are chock full of ads.

I have noticed that WOGL HD2 comes in better in Bucks Co. Though it still sucks. Since the "tower work" has been completed but I'm thinking that the tower work might be related to HDTV rather than HD radio.

Is there a website that shows what HD stations you can listen to on the internet, I went through every station in Philadelphia and the only one that has an actual HD listen live link is WOGL which sounded great in stereo. I thought there would be a guide that has all the stations in Philly and the country that you can listen to their HD broadcast over the net....thanks

I don't know of such a website per se. But....

At http://radio.aol.com you will see all of CBS's radio stations, including HD-2 stations, grouped by city. CBS only has one real HD-2 station in Philly and it's WOGL's. The HD-2 on the other station, WYSP, is a simulcast of an AM station (KYW), so its stream is up at the AM station's web site.

At http://www.iheartmusic.com/national_radio_tuner/ you will see internet streams for Clear Channel's main stations, and also links to certain national streams that they are putting on some HD-2s, but you won't see the actual HD-2s by market.
