WOGL vs WCBS-FM

I cannot believe how much better run WCBS-FM in NYC is programmed than WOGL. It is also showing in the ratings. WCBS-FM plays soo much more variety and they actually have a real all request 70’s lunch. They will play anything from the Beastie Boys to Samantha Fox, from Motley Crue to Debbie Gibson. Oh and they also are not voice tracked they are live. Not sure what happened to the legendary WOGL, but it has really sagged the past few months.
 
WOGL used to sound great. Now I don't know what it is. A bland 80s mix with the same songs over and over again. Ben-FM sounds much better both in terms of presentation and music selection. They even threw in a few disco tracks into their mix. Unfortunately that doesn't translate into ratings
