Please stick with me while I explain this little thing.
As you are aware, WOIO runs MeTv as a secondary service. At the top of each hour they run a localized "MeTV, Cleveland" ID instead of the generic ID sent by the network. Over the passed several weeks or more the Cleveland ID was starting about a second late. The result was two-fold. First, the network ID would start and you'd see and hear: "You're watching" then the local version would cut right in with: "You're watching Me TV, Cleveland..." Then, the actual program would not fade up to the opening segment as it should, but would enter a bit late and cut right in, thus occasionally losing the first word spoken for shows that don't start with the theme song. Today, I called channel 19 and left a message for a gentleman in their Engineering Department. I explained the situation and asked them to please re-set the automation clock. At 5pm today, I turned on MeTV to watch "Emergency", and someone had fixed the problem, and set it perfectly. Now, that's what I call service! They could have just ignored this minor problem, but they took the best course which is serving their viewers, and I want to publicly say that I appreciate it.
