Steve O was one of the hardest working djs in radio. He loved his profession and the radio community has lost a great one. RIP Brother Steve.

Steve was such a great talent. He had a zest for life that only few could dream of. He will be greatly missed. Pray for his family..... he loved his mother so much and I know this is a horrible tragedy in her life.

There was a Chris O'Connor in the early days of Q101, but I don't think it's the same guy.

Yes, Steve O'Conner used to work at Q101. I remember him from the days of the Sunday Morning Brunch, which he hosted.

just read about steve o's passing and it's very sad. he was the hardest working guy in that building, did anything and everything asked of him and always had a smile on his face. i didn't work with him long but feel the loss nonetheless. radiogal44 nailed it when she said that he had a zest for life that only few could dream of. i'll miss you steve o, see you on the other side and the first round's on me.

Very sad to hear indeed. I never knew him, but it's always sad when we lose one of our radio brothers. His family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers?

Dave, I miss working with you brother. Where are you hanging your hat these days?
