Wolf sounds odd

Am I crazy or does the Wolf sound really bad? I'm not talking about the audio quality or processing, but the air conditioner in the background. I can't tell if it's an air conditioner or a fan from a computer. This Lisa girl was on the air this afternoon and she sounded far away from the mike. It doesn't even sound like they're broadcasting from a sound proof room anymore. Is this just the way it is now, or are their studios under construction causing them to broadcast from a different location?

The CPU fan on the AudioVOX PC was starting to go out when I left in March. It sits about 2 feet behind and below the console. It's loud and so are the 800 other fans located under the console. It doesn't help that they're not using talk beds. If you want to cut down on the background noise, try potting the mic down and getting on top of it instead of cranking the mic and sitting a foot from it. Radio 101.
