WDAF Radio 61 had a great personality on air presentation under Dan Henry long before they went country or Mark hit town. The station was always at the top. Being on 610 like KFRC for so many years, they had a killer signal...way better than the 5Kw would give elsewhere on the dial. On the topic of Mark, he sounds great doing Oldies in KC, by the way! A great Top 40 delivery can sound great with country, hot AC, Classic Hits. It's just an exciting and listenable presentation.
Of course with the people meter coming, the bigs think almost no talk and no imaging are the way to go...
