I will miss his show he does seem a lot more fair then rush or shawn. Rush is at least entertaining shawn needs to go away!!!

I really liked back in 200 till 2002 when they had alred and taylor.Gloria alred and mark taylor very interesting show but last i heard mark he will fill in for dennis prager on krla sometimes prior to that he use to work for 92.7 before they were jill fm.

Gloria is making her millions i am sure but what shows do you all think they might pick up???

I say get something local not syndicated there is to much of that in this country right now.

I use to like kabc back in 2000 till 02 now not so much.

I really miss mr kabc wonder where marc germaine is now???

But i do like doug mcintyre in the morning and still miss him at night i remember when they started red eye radio during the 2000 election just after they had gotten rid of coast to coast. Kabc has gone way downhill over the years but whtach gonna do

Move Don Imus up to mornings instead of just 3 to 5 AM and Doug McIntyre to middays. McIntrye is not and never will be a success in mornings against Handel.
 
Are you serious, Glenn? :eek: I agree with your 2nd sentence though..... Glenn Beck would be a better fit though I'm not sure about his status/contract with KGIL. Imus is sooo over the hill.

My statement has nothing to do with what's good for KABC but what Citadel will do. Citadel is in poor health and will need to maximize the reach of its national players.

Glen Beck just signed with the Fox News Channel to do the 2 PM (Pacific) show. That will give him a good shot at being a bigger national radio talk player.
 
what theyre gonna do is put Sliwa in that slot, since hes already under contract in NY at WABC. He filled in for Al Rantel during his time out earlier this year. I dont even know why they bother with Imus. When is the last time you heard a promo for Imus? KABC has been going down, and chances are, it'll keep going the same direction with Citadel at the healm. They're stock is going down the crapper. If it keeps dropping lower, look for a sale of stations to cover losses.

I doubt that. Sliwa works 2-3 AM and 7-8:45 AM Pacific, btw. He filled in for Al Rantal's 11-11:45 AM waste of a show, live.
 
If Mancow works out for WLS, maybe they'll use him for 9-11.

In addition, Sliwa also does a daily three-hour nightly show for Boston, 10 PM-1 AM local time, via ISDN!

And FYI: Mancow live in Chicago 9-11 AM local time would be 7-9 AM L.A. time. Food for thought...
 
Now, Levin let it slip that he would be LIVE in LA sometime soon (check out LARADIO.COM) That would be right after Hannity 3-5 PM, where does Larry Elder end up in this scenario?

That's actually a really interesting thought. I also noticed the timing was interesting - WLS announced hiring Mancow right after the word first came out that O'Reilly would probably be stepping down. It could be a coincidence, or, it could be Citadel seeing a hole opening up that will need to be filled.
