V-Soft Communications has a cool program where you can enter any zip code and it will generate a list of stations from strongest signal down to about 0.30mV/m. You can also just enter a single station and a list of the signal strength related to Zip Code is generated. The results appear to account for any directional pattern the station has also. If you are curious what station has the strongest signal in your Zip Code or any for that matter, go to
www.v-soft.com and click on ZIP CODE SIGNAL on the home page. In 77057 KEYH 850 is the power house daytime with 82.86mV/m or 98.4dbu, the list gives both signal strengths, down to KANI 1500 daytime at 0.34mV/m. Beaumont's KLVI 560 is the first out of metro station to show up with 6.42mV/m on the night pattern. The daytime non-directional pattern sends a 2.19mV/m signal into 77057. The program also includes translators as KSBJ's translator on 99.7 K259AB in Sugar Land has a 53.9dbu signal here. Just for some fun.
