Wonder why Armed Forces Network dont stream their stations

I wish AFN would stream some of their stations, especially Freedom Radio in Iraq, but they still dont, I cant even find an unofficial relay anywhere. I thought it may be for security reasons, but that cant be right since the British army streams their CHR BFBS radio online, even the ones in Iraq. Anyone got a clue, is it maybe due to lack of ISPs in Iraq, or is it just not worth the extra cost?

I just think it would be cool to hear the U.S soldiers on the air, and hear all the news and info directed toward the troops. Plus, its kinda neat the way the station dayparts different genre's. I wonder how deep into the hip hop they go, and if its edited hit songs, or if they go deeper with album cuts. Also wonder if they play any Dance music or have any mix shows on weekends. I wonder if thats what Mission Underground plays on Saturday night? They also air AT 40, but of course we can hear that anywhere, in fact its harder not to hear it if you listen to CHRs on early morning weekends.

Try iTunes. Unless I am mistaken, they are broadcasting both Video and Radio on there. I was looking for it one day as I am enlisted as a Broadcaster scheduled to leave in August, and I will be working in readio.

Do you know what I need to look under? I tried everywhere on Itunes and cant find it anywhere. What a tease, a thought for sure id find it on there... Can you verify for me and see that its still on there, and tell me where I need to look, id really appreciate it.... ;) By the way,,, Good luck and much love bro, Props to ya for working for the U.S Millitary and AFN Radio, im sure the radio job will be alot of fun, and good experience for future comericial radio.
