Wonderful WOKE memories

Someone sent me the link to the tribute site of WOKE-AM 1340 in Charleston during the Harry Weaver era.

http://www.wokememories.com

There's some interesting reading and videos there for those of you who remember Wonderful WOKE.

That site has been around for years. It has lots of good airchecks and stories, as a radio historian named John Quincy made the site up, along with others for Charleston and the state of KY.
