Wondering if Howie got suspended again...

Rerun of Howie Carr on now from last Fri (well I was in Pittsburgh then so it's "new to me").
Reference to anniversary of Korean War starting and as it was pointed out to me that would
have been 6/25/10

Yesterday Howie said he isn't a beautiful person so he WOULD be on today and Monday. He didn't
say he'd be on live...Today's show had no "Best of Howie" disclaimer on it. Did WRKO let Howie
enjoy a long weekend, or...are they punishing him again? In recent shows he's done everything from
drop the name of a WTKK host, Michael Graham (though he said "my Herald colleague") to
doing the old "I was listening to one of the newer talk stations in town" (free plug to WXKS!) to
more of the "serving five years at this place" references. Did Hokey Wolfe pull the plug on him
again?

Hmm.

update: they did run a "this is classic Carr" announcement
 
Howie: NOW What?

Monday, 7/5: Live show from 3 til 6 (mostly about Gore's alleged 2006 indiscretions). But then, there was a repeated first hour from a week or two ago.

I missed the first minute or so, but Howie seems to have come on live briefly after the news. I heard the end of one of his Entercrumb complaints (remember them?) about how "someday I'll be on a major station in a major market." The something about playing the intro again and praying it worked. Then, the old hour.

What gives? ???
 
This hour was totally from a few weeks ago--he did say the bit about someday being on a major station for a major company/market (I think it was "company" not market) but that was from
that particular show (after the underage party arrests)
All today was re-runs

And here I thought he actually worked on the Fifth. Of course, I also expected the mail. ::)

I thought management got him all steamed during the six o'clock news and he walked off, which would have made for a MUCH better discussion. Oh, well.
 
Suspension vacation or both? I had done a post on his Facebook group about Avi being on
and whomever does the FB (Sandy?) replied

The Howie Carr Show>>Hi all, Howie is indeed on vacation the next couple of weeks.

There's no way Howie is on a "2 week vacation".
He's either ill or suspended.
Remember that he had that fainting / seizure spell at a restaurant a couple of months ago.
