Woodman leaving K104

I'm surpised this hasn't been brought up yet, but the woodman is going to be leaving the K104 morning show. Someone I work with had told me this last week, but I hadn't heard anything officially until this morning when they played the clip of him saying that he was leaving. Bill Beale and Tory Grace have been filling in since he went on the cruise, but have said that he will come back next week for another month. I'm guessing he'll stick around until K Fest and leave then. Any ideas?

It should be interesting. More to see what happens after he leaves, which like you said probably wont be till after KFest. He's been around for a while now. It seem like eons ago when Stu Schantz was doing mornings there.
 
Word has it Boris and Jen from WRRV are in talks with K104 about moving across town from WRRV.

That could be the dumbest thing I've ever heard. He is the one guy I cant stand. Talk about a fake radio voice.
 
That would be cool. Next to the K104 morning show, the only other one I've actually listened to occasionally is WRRV's morning show.

It would be cool, but I wont help but laugh at hearing Borris announce 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg. It'll take a little getting used to.
 
My thoughts exactly. He seems to fit in well with the rock format at WRRV, and it would be interesting to see how he does at K104.
 
Just found something on Skywalker's blog at the K104 website..."Yes..the rumors are true. Woodman is leaving K104 after K-fest. He is moving to be closer out to his family in the mid-west. This business we are in (radio) can be very taxing and weird as far as personal relationships can be concerned and often you dont put family first. In this case he is and kudos to him. He has been a force to be reckoned with in the Hudson Valley and made it a little exciting here in the Hudson Valley as far as radio is concered. Pretty interesting when all the "haters"..apply for the job..hahha.."
