Woodstock 50th on WXPN

Calling all boomers! Your chance to relive the 60s is coming from WXPN, according to AllAccess.com:

In a 4-day exclusive radio event, UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Non-com Triple A WXPN/PHILADELPHIA will present a minute-by-minute replay of the legendary WOODSTOCK music festival exactly 50 years to the day and hour later.

Beginning at 5:07p (ET) on THURSDAY, AUGUST 15th on WXPN, “WOODSTOCK - As It Happened - 50 Years On” will transport listeners to MAX YASGUR’s upstate NEW YORK farm for four days of music performed by 32 artists, which started at 5:07p on FRIDAY, AUGUST 15th and ended on MONDAY, AUGUST 18th.

--Surprised more AAA stations aren't doing something like this. WMUB in Boston is built around this era.

that's such a cool idea! i'll certainly tune in. as a millennial, this is as close as i'll get to being at the original and best woodstock. i guess they're using the original tapes of the whole event?
