Rumor has it, that these two stations will (at some part) or has gone 100,000 watts. I've checked radio locater to confirm, and they have filed a class C1 Liscense. Has anyone heard about this.

I hate to burst Sherri houses bubble but KWFX absolutly sucks (they're satalite fed, from Great American Country, I believe). Oh well I guess we'll see.

I also heard through, that a NPR tower is being constructed West of Woodward by the Airport.

Finally KSIW AM 1450, switched they're format from oldies to, Sports Animal Programming, AGAIN for the 3rd time.

Geeze.. A tower near an airport? I wonder how they got that FAAed? Wierd!

Sat. feed anything sucks in my opinion. I'm supprised they are able to afford that kind of an upgrade with a robot station really. I would assume that 101 still outbills KWFX big time?

Waynoka (Class C2 @ 94.1)
Mooreland (Class A @ 98.7)
Shattuck (Class C2 @ 104.1)

These are the pending applications that would strongly cover Woodward... Add that to the six commercial stations already on the air (KMZE, KWFX, KAZY, KWOX, KWDQ, KSIW) and that is a pretty saturated market when it is all said and done. Can a town of 10,000 support that many stations?
