WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Please...no...I'm begging you God...

Don't let Atom and Maria be replaced by R&R...

Roula and Ryan had a listenable show, but it was nowhere near the ballpark of A&M. R&R's content would be inapropriate for a top 40 station.

But since Fant seems determined to turn KRBE into MIX, maybe the worst will happen.

Listening to R&R will be bad enough. Just thank God you can't SEE them. Faces MADE for radio...unfortuantely, neither were their voices.

Once again Danish has proven his IQ. Did you reach deep down for that one? When do we get to take a look at your [EDIT] mug? Last time I checked, Roula had a TV show and Ryan had appeared on several daytime soaps. Have you? [EDIT]

[EDIT*=namecalling][EDIT**=Ad Hominem Attack]

Re: Roula does not have a TV show-she's a guest

Roula does not have a TV show. She appears for about 15 minutes per week
as a guest Great Day Houston on channel 11. It is not 'her' show by any stretch of the imagination.

As far as Ryan appearing in soap operas, you can purchase guest spots on soap operas at charity auctions. I don't know if Ryan did that, but I know this is an option. Hey, even you can be in a soap opera with the winning bid.

Let's see. I am edited for "name calling?" Yet you will allow these professionals to post fat jokes and make vicious statements all day long. You are a hypocrite. 15 minutes a day is more TV time than you will ever log. Also, I just re-read the bio and apparently he has appeared on other TV shows. Once again handsome, have you? Actually I cannot think of many Houston morning personalities that have logged more TV time than R&R. Although 23 people in Houston watched Sam Malone be a judge on some horrible Channel 2 Talent Show.

Why are you challenging the facts? Re-read the facts (not fat jokes or vicious statements) that I posted.
It's 15 minutes per week, not per day. And Roula does a wonderful job with it.

I can. If you add up all the time that KRBE ran Sam & Maria and Atom & Maria's TV commercials, that would probably add up to more TV time than R&R have logged as guests on TV shows. And also add in the years that Maria was the entertainment reporter for Fox26.

Oh and don't forget that Johnny Bravo (a cast member of the Atom & Maria show) currently appears on channel 8 as their music critic. And when Sam Malone left KRBE he was a regular contributor on channel 2's morning news show and was a judge on the
multi-week talent show they aired. And Dana Tyson, KODA, appeared daily (maybe still does) on a Houston TV news show in the mornings.

And I haven't even touched upon the Hispanic and Urban radio personalities who appear regularly on TV. So yes, lots of radio personalities have logged more TV time than R&R I think.

Dayna Steele.

Hudson & Harrigan has done a lot of TV as well. When we moved over to Greenway, H&H was on KPRC-TV every morning in their early newscasts. The Channel 2 camera was in KILT production room #2. I would be on the board timing it out so they could return in time for the show. We tried to do it during the Robert B McIntire newscasts.

In the 1980s Harrigan was the daily movie afternoon host on KTHT-TV Channel 67. After that time, he was the voice of Channel 20 for a few years.

In the late 1970s Scott Arthur from KQUE/KBME fame was on Channel 26 nightly hosting the late night movie. That job had been held by Roger Gray who had been a Houston air personality.

When Dayne Steele left Channel 51 and I left KILT, I became her producer on the late KKTL, 97TALK-FM.
