WOR Biographical Films on New Year's Eve

New York TV Station WOR (now WWOR) was available on cable here in the early-to-mid 1980's. I remember one New Year's Eve during that time when the station aired a number of biographical films that lasted past midnight. There was: "The Benny Goodman Story", "The Eddie Cantor Story", "The Al Jolson Story", followed by "Jolson Sings Again". Does anyone remember that?
