Make that co-host alongside Donna Hanover (the former Mrs. Rudolph Giuliani).

Joe Bartlett is news director of WOR and probably a temporary fill-in on the morning show.

WOR has been in serious turmoil the last 12 months: PD fired and not replaced, Bob Grant forced into semiretirement, 2 "Food Talk" hosts quit, morning co-host quits. Are the suits at Buckley paying attention?

WOR has been a disgrace for many years. But--that can be said of many stations.

WOR is very cheap, gets poor ratings ---but likely makes $$!! I think an am-drive show with Danny Stiles and RuPaul would be a perfect fit for WOR! Some days Bob Grant could fill in with RuPaul!

I don't know about that. I like both Joe Bartlett and Ed Walsh and enjoyed their chemisty. I found the show to be a decent alternative at times, to the other talk shows. My guess was that the very cheap WOR figured that there would be no difference in the morning show ratings if they kept the show the same but cut a body. I have to say that I found the show unlistenable once Donna Hanover joined in. She just never seems to have anything valuable to add, and the timing of her comments always seemsto be forced.

I listened Monday, and the two hosts sounded very uncomfortable, each forcing their comments on the other. The worst example was when they had a guest designer on, speaking mostly with Donna Hanover. When Mr. Bartlett added his two cents, his comments were forced and Donna Hanover's response was very dismissive. Not good chemistry IMHO.

Bob Grant is off WOR again -- apparently for good. He had been relegated to a bit part in the morning show.

NERW reports that Friday was his last day.
