There was a British car manufacturer named Triumph (now defunct, though BMW owns the trademark, so the the brand itself isn't quite defunct yet). There's also a British maker of motorcycles by this name (the currently extant Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. and its defunct predecessor Triumph Engineering Co. Ltd.)
