You've no doubt seen Yen Sid in action if you've ever seen "Fantasia" or anything based on the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" segment. It was the name given the otherwise anonymous sorcerer (or maybe the guy who played him? S-word, now I'm confused) because he was loosely patterned after Walt Disney. ("Disney" spelt backwards) Mickey, of course, is still Mickey.

Their radio commercial announcer lady also sounds very much like Jane Barbe when she was younger. I mean, almost living image of Jane in her Audichron days. It's almost frightening hearing her.

"Convoy"

By the way, depending on whom you ask you either just inadvertantly likened me to a male lot lizard or called me a gay there. I won't hold it over your head; I didn't know either until maybe only a couple years ago that the favoured term is now "good neighbour". Why, I don't know, but I guess changes over time and all that crap. (It's not like other CBers go out of their way to tell anybody, either.) You know, like how "thongs" apparently no longer refers to sandals. Or something dumb like that. Whatever.

Good heavens, Darth, I do thank you for telling me about newfangled jargon. I have never owned a CB or even spoken on one. I guess I should have posted something like Smokey and The Bandit or something along them thar lines. Sheesh.

I was feeling nostalgic tonight and read through all 112 pages of this game. Funny stuff and you can see Anyacat's (may she rest in peace) personality and humor shining. Anyacat started this game just over 9 years ago. It was not continuous over 9 years (much the way TFWG has been as continuous as possible given the occasional board shutdowns). There was a 2 year stoppage. Then there was a 4 year stoppage starting in 2010 when it was started again in 2014 by Miss Silkie who told us that April 17th is National Haiku Day (to honor Anyacat who started this thread). So, since April 17th is not that far off, let's see if this thread goes anywhere for a while. Anyone care to join?
