Schmidt's

(A vile Philadelphia brew that a college classmate -- and occupant of nearby dorm room -- would return with a case of after weekend trips back home. In the pre-craft brew era, people actually drank that stuff. The best I can say about it was that it was better than either of the central New York beers, Genesee and Utica Club.)
 
Nostalgia

One could not be a student in the Philadelphia School System in the 60s' and early 70's and not tour the Schmidt's Brewery! The students received samples of Root Beer!
