No bags at Spag's

Spag's was the original BJ's or Sam's Club type of operation. Legendary throughout central Mass and beyond. For decades, they did not offer bags. You either carried everything or maybe you were lucky to find an empty box in the store. Also, they were cash only. And closed on Sundays. Eventually, they started offering bags at checkout, accepting credit cards, and opened on Sunday. Building 19 eventually bought them and called it Spag's 19 but their glory days were long over and didn't last long as Spag's 19. Plenty of info on the interwebs.

Interestingly enough, this slogan has been rehashed. Now used at discount retailer "Ollie's".

United

I'm steering this back to single words...if possible. We'll see. 😂
