Would it be interesting to see somebody sleeping on the air, even since they are at home since they couldn't figure out how to make it work with their studios of having them 5 feet apart at least.
Okay before I was playing along with your naivete, but it's time for a little education:
1. As BigA mentioned; nobody is going to be sleeping while on the air. Well in advance of going on from home, Talent usually does their own makeup, has to connect their microphone and IFB, does audio, lighting and camera checks, all while having someone talking in their ear.
2. Your comment about "couldn't figure out how to make it work with their studios..." amounts to pure ignorance. First of all, CDC guidelines are six feet, not five. Secondly; the reason Talent, Anchors, and Reporters, are working from home has nothing to do with not being able to stay away from colleagues, but a management decision to keep the expensive Talent safe at home and thus, reduce the potential exposure by commuting to and from work, or from colleagues while at the studios/offices.
At the major network where I'm employed, 80% of the normal staff are working from home. This includes: Sales, Promotions, Post Production, Business and Finance. Talent is rotating with a week at the Studio, week from home rotation. Some marquis talent is working strictly from home.
