Workshop t.v. shows

Well here I am at 5:00 a.m. watching Woodworks on DIY channel and I'm wondering that although carpentry is one of the more popular interests regarding educational t.v., has there been other trades in other markets that have been tried and what success have they had? In other words, have there been programs specifically geared towards printers, welders, model makers, etc. in local markets or is the do it yourself industry just dominated by home improvement, gardening, cooking, and auto mechanics? I'm also a printer and would love to see programs regarding offset or screen printing, but I don't know if they exist, or have been tried and flamed out. Is there enough interest in niche topics to try out programs like these or just exist as video tapes available thru trade magazines?
