I saw a promo on WWOR for the World Baseball Classic, and apparently they will be broadcasting some, if not all of the games.
Are any other markets doing this?<P ID="signature">______________

MLB.com only lists ESPN/ESPN2/ESPN Deportes as broadcasters for the WBC. They may be syndicating some games.

I know that I read that KTVD UPN-20 here in Denver is going to be carrying three games. I think in addition to ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN Desportes,, there will also be games distributed on ESPN syndication, like the ESPN+ system they use for college sports.

Yes, they are definitely syndicating certain games. I believe that most, if not all, of these games will be replayed on at least one of the ESPN networks.

This infomration is from the world baseball classic web site.
ESPN and ESPN2 will offer 16 live telecasts, highlighted by the ESPN telecast of the March 18 semifinal games and March 20 final game from San Diego's PETCO Park. ESPN Syndication will syndicate 14 games to a variety of English-language outlets. In addition to the aforementioned ESPN coverage, ESPN Deportes, ESPN's Spanish-language network in the U.S., will be the only domestic network to televise all 39 games of the inaugural tournament.
