Saw this on the wrn website:

Listeners in North America
We are sorry to report that from April 25th, WRN will no longer be available on SiriusXM satellite radio to listeners in the USA and Canada. If you subscribe to SiriusXM and wish to provide feedback to SiriusXM about this, you can contact them here siriusxm.com.

This affects many people who listen to rebroadcasts via World Radio Network, including Glenn Hauser's "World of Radio".

You can find WRN North America programming on some HD2 stations locally.
Also, it is available on FTA satellite, Galaxy-19, Ku-band, Transponder 27-V.

Here's a link to the other ways to receive it:

I'll second the thought/motion! I enjoyed listening to many of the broadcasts on the World Radio Network channel.

Last night when I tuned the WRN channel on XM (hoping against all hope that the original post was incorrect)..... but alas, there was a recorded loop running over and over saying that Sirius/XM was no longer broadcasting the World Radio Network and suggest listening to the BBC instead.

As much as I like the BBC; I still appreciated coverage of events on WRN that are not always covered on the BBC.

Sigh...........

That means I really need to get my Ku band satellite installed. There is no affiliate near me that carries WRN and I like the show.

For you all who are ignorant of Free to Air satellite, it's wonderful. You buy the equipment once and that's it no monthly bill or subscription. No I don't work for any sat company (used to) and am so glad I discovered it. Not a lot of people in N America have ever heard of it.
