World Radio Network on AM 1210

I have heard World Radio Network on AM 1210, although weak, from my North Texas location for the past few nights after 11:00pm, but have not been able to pick up any station ID. I also hear WPHT Philadelphia on the same frequency. World Radio Network carries news from around the world. The news focus changes every half hour to hour to focus on certain countries. World Radio Network itself seems to be based in London, but a few stations rebroadcast their news. Any ideas where this station is located.

OK I am replying to myself, but it seems that the station on AM 1210 carrying the World Radio Network is KMPS - Memphis. I will check again to confirm.

You're getting WMPS Memphis

KMPS is Seattle and FM only since 1997.....

Whatever "this week's" call letters are, the Memphis 1210 goes through format changes on a frequent basis. The night signal basically goes west and southwest so it make sense that you could hear it in north Texas. Perhaps even better than in Memphis, where WPHT trashes it!
