World Series-KNBR

boring series on TV and radio

Huh? The series has been FILLED with improbably plays that simply shouldn't be happening. Between the stunning visuals on TV and the Jon Miller, Dave Flemming, Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper team (a lot of overkill here, but what the heck) have had some very energetic and descriptive calls on the KNBR side.

They had a 5.3 for October 2010 and a 7.2 for November 2010.

I think the 7.2 you're referring to was the October ratings that were published in Nov. Makes no sense for their ratings to go up drastically *after* the World Series.

I bet they do. Even I tuned in, and caught the final half-inning when Romo struck out all three batters. Rockin'.

But oh well, sports deals follow the sport, so if it's four games, that's all they get. Better than being done at the end of regular season by a long shot (just ask Compass Media, home of the Raiders).

According to the latest book, KNBR had a 6.1 in October, and was #1 ratings wise. And congratulations on the World Series.
