Does anybody know if the "Chuck Morgan" that was introduced by Joe Buck on the World Series telecast was the Chuck Morgan that use to be at WSM in Nashville?
I wish WSM would bring somebody like Chuck Morgan back to work with Eddie and the Grand Ole Opry or the satelllite channels would put him on one of the country channels.

Yes it is. Chuck also worked with the Sounds, which later led to gigs with the Royals and then the Rangers, where he's been for almost 30 years as PA guy.

Don't hold your breath on Chuck coming back. He's also VP with In-Park Entertainment with the Rangers.

I worked with Chuck over-night for about six months before going to days. Other than his family, his two big loves were the Opry and Baseball. When he was offered the baseball job (I think by Larry Schmitto) he told me it was one of the hardest decisions he ever had to make. While still at WSM, there was once a nice writeup on the news department with a picture. Chuck sent me a note congratulating the news department. Nice guy..
