World's Greatest Program Director at it again

For those who remember the man formerly known as "ML" (PD of the soon-to-be-ESPN-less Voice of the Fan WKNR and News/Talk WHK--where your opinion counts, as long as its the same as the hosts on this national satellite feed we run all day), the man now known as the World's Greatest Program Director (TM) is up to his usual professionalism in a recent response to an email.

A gent over at the Cleveland.com Browns forum wrote to Mikey, asking why they have a Steelers' fan (Kenny Roda) as the afternoon host on a Cleveland sports talk station, talking about the Browns.

World's Greatest Program Director's response:

"Thanks for your comments.

I guess we are in violation of FCC Rule 3657........." No station shall employ an afternoon host who is a native of the professional football team's rival".......

I am sorry that you are offended by the fact that our host is a fan of another team.

Enjoy 1460 WBNS AM. That's the Columbus sports talk station.

Thanks again

ML--accepting criticism and raising the level of discourse.

Hey, at least he didn't use his favorite word "pissed". How Christian of him.
