Worst Scam ad's ever..

what are your favorites?

Sorry guy, I will not believe any business secrets given to me by some guy named Chet. All I think of is Dan Aykroyd and John Candy ;o)

I heard those house flipping ads in every market. Of course, every city is the perfect city to flip houses.

There are two weight loss ads running simultaneously -- same copy, different product names -- the ones that say if you lose too much weight you should cut back to one pill a day! Right.

For at least the past month there's been a special offer for the "first 100" people who call. It used to be that repetition was considered important for the effectiveness of a radio ad. Apparently these ads are designed to sucker people into calling on the first hearing -- either that or people are just dumber than you'd think.

I can never forget the "Thicker AND Wider" ads Pulse 87 used to play all the time. It's been proven those male enhancement pills are ineffective.

I hate those CRN ads about the foreclosed homes. "All listeners with the last name A-N can call now." And they say that EVERY time! O-Z's day (Which says "tomorrow, 9AM", never happens.)

Also the New York Mint and their silver dollar ads are very fishy as well, plus many weight loss ads.

There is one Internet provider who is boasting in radio ads that their service is faster than a competitor's, because they give you "faster in-home wifi".... which has absolutely nothing to do with the actual connection speed you get to the Internet. All they're saying is that they give you a faster wireless router, presumably Wireless N instead of Wireless G... which is pointless, because even Wireless G is already faster than even the fastest Internet connection available.

I always found those fishy. How many rare coins pop up that frequently? Even the ones on TV look like they where produced by a high school AV squad. either that, or the US Mint stock piles rare coins they make every years and sell them to a gullible public ;o)

Enzyte
Focus Factor
Any ad that promises to eliminate your IRS problem
Goldline

Found this at another web site:

ingle -- to the tune of "After You've Gone"

"There'll be no more tears,
and no more cryin',
there'll be no more pain,
there's no denyin',

I don't remember the rest but then came the voice over --

If you suffer from hemorrhoids, fistulas or pustules, Dr. (what-ever-his-name-was) will make you better.

Call ( i swear this was real) he had an 800 number that incorporated the numbers for "Dr. Tush."

More of a scam then an ad, but how about this one, "And now another great long mix of the best music from the 80's, 90's and today on (insert station name that applies here)"
