WORST SCENARIOS FOR HARRIS BCD

It would be ironic if GE acquired Harris Broadcast now, as when GE wanted to divest their broadcast equipment product lines, Harris bought a lot of it in 1972 -- including their TV camera, TV transmitter and TV transmit antenna lines. Harris has since dropped the TV camera and TV antenna product lines (the Harris TV antenna product line was purchased by Dielectric Communications in 2000).

Harris Broadcast also hired a lot of GE broadcast division employees to support those acquisitions.

Re: QEI (Quirky Electronics Inside) aka (Quickly Earns Ire), they are well known for their famous ability to go spread spectrum.

When they did away with the regional sales reps, it was the beginning of the end. Will Bone, my salesperson, was always one to count on for suggestions about upgrades, etc, and it did not always include just Harris products! What happened to those days? And I must remember Ray Evans, the Collins rep who was equally helpful in the 70's...he even could help you spin off used equipment, or even buy some...those were the days of customer service...JBI
