WOSM now a Supertalk affiliate

I guess the old thread disappeared during the upgrade, so I'll mention here that WOSM debuted Supertalk this morning. I sent a PM to their Facebook page asking if they have any plans to build out the CP that Mr. Cooper got… 100 kW might be too tempting for the Telesouth folks to pass up.

1) Go through with the 100kw upgrade.
2) Make Cumulus Mobile drool over another 100kw out-of-market station that puts one hell of a signal over the Mobile metro.
3) Sell WOSM 103.1 to Cumulus.
4) Profit.

Yeah, the formula makes more sense if you substitute Clear Channel for Cumulus... I just went with Cumulus because of their recent buying spree in the Mobile area. Cumulus could find enough cash to buy out one of the class A or C3 stations in Biloxi or get one of those fancy translators for SuperTalk as part of the deal if they wanted 103.1 as bad as they wanted WABB. It's possible. Don't know how likely it is. Now if Hale from the Ticket in FWB had bought 103.1 I would be positive it would wind up as part of the Clear Channel or Dowdy cluster.
