WOSU Edges WTVN as Top Talker

I believe for the first time, WOSU topped WTVN in the latest ratings release. Only by a 10th. But a win is a win. Talk radio is beginning to transition.

And WOSU is not even a news/talker, its a public radio all-news and information station. A whole lot of NPR stations across the country are starting to beat out commercial news/talkers.

It is the first time I believe. I don't ever remember WOSU-FM doing that well under their NPR news format and edging out WTVN.

Beyond the fact that one is on AM and the other is on FM, there is an obvious difference in manner of presentation. One station yells at you, the other one speaks to you. Some people don't like to be yelled at.
