For the past three or four days WKAT has had no local content. It sounds as if they opened up the satellite link and just let it run. Anybody know what's going on?
 
Since their move to right-wing talk, have they even shown up in a rating book? As so-so as the ratings were for classical at least it was a unique format. DOubtful that Salem will change the format - having a stick in Miami for their network shows is useful for selling nationally. I'm guessing they are cutting as many expenses as possible by running in "set and forget" mode.

I turned on the radio after reading this earlier... not even knowing if I could
get a good signal from The Kat. I heard Laura I... followed by an hour
of pill-peddlers because I was too lazy to get up and change the
station at noon.

Any station with a midday show of brokered pill-peddlers deserves to be
at the bottom of the ratings.

What a long way WKAT has sunk since they excelled at LOCAL TALK in
the 60s and 70s. What a disgrace.

I'm gonna switch to Boortz right now!
