Would a chr or hot ac/dance format work?

With chr so morose sounding, I'm wondering if there's a hole for audiences in their 20s/30s for uptempo pop/dance music, whereas hot ac used to fill the void for more downtempo music in the 90s/00s. The closest example is kenz in salt lake city. A sample hour would sound like this:
Sigala/james Arthur-elastic lover
Prayer in c-lily wood
Peaches-justin bieber
Red lights-tiesto
Ava max-kings and queens
Foster the people-sit next to me
You-dj regard
hideaway-kiesza
Kalu uchis-telepathic
Mkto-classic
Better off alone-deejay alice
Kiss me more-doja cat
Heroes-alesso/tove lo

Depends on the market and the demand. Isn't that the idea behind KNOU LA?

It sounds to me like a specialty show on Saturday night.

Personally I don't think of Salt Lake City as the kind of market that would support this format. I remember being there the day their Hard Rock Cafe closed due to lack of business.
