Would a Country-Rock Format work here?

Seeing how we have two-three (depending on how you classify them) classic rock stations and two country stations in the market, would phoenix be open to a station that combined both elements of country and classic rock? I have listened to one online this week and its amazing how close todays country sounds to yesterdays classic southern rock. Very interesting to hear.

Depends on your definition of "work"....

I've never seen it work..anywhere.

With that said though, if it were done right . . . I would listen. I personally prefer the "good" stuff from both of those formats. I'm not sure if it would go over well with the mainstream though?
