Would an ac/hot ac station like this work?

Here's an idea for a playlist I came up with which might resonate with the target demos:
Enemy-imagine dragons
Don't know why-norah Jones
Moves like jagger-maroon 5
Why don't you and I-santana
Bad at love-halsey
These dreams-heart
Someday-rob Thomas
Shivers-ed Sheeran
1234-feist
Billie jean-michael Jackson
Good life- one republic
I don't want to wait-paula Cole
Thunder-imagine dragons

Personally, I'd like it! Good songs and a very nice amount of variety contrast in sound, era, tempo. But I am three quarters of a century old, so it might be targeting a little old.

Let's hear from some people in their 40's and 50's.

I'm going to make a list right now of those songs and play them as I work on a project!

Based on my calculations, we have 85% today's hits (2017 and up) and 15% between 1980-2017 (intersting you should include Michael Jackson). AC should mainly appeal to the 24-48 age group, and slightly to the 18-24. You might try some Nineties hits! Hence why some AC stations say "80s, 90s, and Today". Best appeal to the young adult category. Let the Top-40 stations cover the kids, and let the Classic Hits stations cover the 40+ range. Your playlist probably would suit 25 year olds pretty good though, and they are top spenders besides 30 year olds

I happened to hear Rob Thomas's "Someday" on SiriusXM's Mosaic channel about an hour ago. That's one half of what used to be their AC-ish The Blend channel, until they "reblended" Blend to be older and softer (mostly '70s and '80s) and created Mosaic to play mostly '90s and '00s music.

Rob Thomas falls into the subgenre of what some are starting to call "Minivan Rock":

As a 40 something I like it. I don't know if it would fly with daily listener though.

I've noticed the blend went older and more repetitive.
